Basic information

🔹 General Requirements (For All Applicants):

  1. Valid Passport: Original passport with at least 6 months validity from the intended date of travel. All previous old passports must be submitted.

  2. Visa Application Form: Form must be accurately filled out online/offline and signed by the applicant (signature must match passport).

  3. Digital Photograph: Two (2) recent color photos taken within the last 6 months. Size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm on a matte finish with a solid white background.

  4. National ID & Birth Certificate: Clear photocopy of NID card and English-translated Birth Certificate.

  5. Financial Capability: Original Personal Bank Statement for the last 6 months along with a Bank Solvency Certificate showing a consistent and sufficient balance.

  6. Tax Records: Updated TIN Certificate and Income Tax Assessment Certificate including Return Submission Receipts for the last 3 years.

  7. Civil Status Documents: Marriage Certificate / Nikahnama (if traveling with spouse) translated and notarized in English.

  8. Visiting Card: Two (2) copies of official or business visiting cards.

🔹 If Business Owner (Self-Employed):

  1. Trade License: Valid up-to-date Trade License (Notarized English translation is mandatory).

  2. Company Stationery: Official Company Letterhead pad for writing the Visa Forwarding Letter.

  3. Corporate Financials: Company Corporate Bank Statement for the last 6 months along with a Bank Solvency Certificate.

  4. Corporate Registration: Memorandum of Article / Incorporation Certificate (Only for Limited Companies).

🔹 If Employee (Job Holder):

  1. No Objection Certificate (NOC): Original NOC or Leave Sanction Letter from the employer stating designation, monthly salary, duration of employment, and purpose of travel.

  2. Official Identification: Copy of Office ID Card.

  3. Salary Proof: Official Salary Certificate and Bank Statement showing monthly salary deposits for the last 6 months.

  • Visa Category: Short-Term Tourist Visa (C-3-9)

  • Application Hub: South Korea visa applications from Bangladesh are processed through the official KVAC (Korea Visa Application Center) in Dhaka.

🔹 Supporting Document Checklist for Submission:

  • Cover Letter: A personalized Travel Cover Letter detailing your purpose of visit, travel dates, and an explicit declaration that you will return to Bangladesh.

  • Detailed Itinerary: A day-by-day sightseeing plan or tour itinerary inside South Korea covering your entire stay.

  • Accommodation & Flight Details: Verified hotel reservation and a round-trip confirmed flight itinerary matching your travel dates.

  • Invitation Support (If Applicable): If visiting family/friends or for business, an official invitation letter from South Korea, including the host’s corporate registration copy or alien registration card (ARC) copy.

  • Special Cases: In certain instances, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea may request additional documents or interview calls, which can extend the processing time.
